CHALLENGING BLACK AND WHITE THINKING IN AGRICULTURE
CHALLENGING BLACK AND WHITE THINKING IN AGRICULTURE
Whether it's a workshop, a keynote, a podcast, or a programme - everything I do starts with the same question: what do the people involved actually need?
GRIP is our flagship one-day programme for farmers and farming families - built on behavioural science, delivered in plain English. It's got its own page because it deserves one.
Most knowledge exchange programmes dump information on people and hope for the best. It doesn't work - because it ignores the people you're trying to reach.
I design programmes that start with the human element. What motivates people? What's getting in the way? What does change actually look like for them - not just on paper, but in their daily lives?
If your current approach isn't landing, let's fix that.
I challenge traditions - starting with my own. Having been through serious personal and professional change, I've got no problem calling out the things that hold our industry back. Always with empathy. Usually with humour.
My talks focus on what we can control: accountability, confidence, clarity, and putting people back in charge of their own direction.
I also speak openly about postnatal depression - how I dealt with it, what I learned, and how I rebuilt my identity as a mother. These aren't farming talks. They're human talks.
If you want a speaker who says what others are thinking, I'm your gal.
I host two of my own - Think Outside The Fence and Out Of The Rut - and I host and produce podcasts for other organisations too.
Creating content that resonates with farmers and rural professionals takes more than a microphone. It takes industry knowledge, a bit of humour, the ability to handle sensitive conversations with care, and a voice people actually trust.
As a certified Mental Health First Aider who's experienced mental ill-health myself, I know how to create a safe space - even with a mic on.
That's fine. Most people get in touch with a rough idea and we figure out the right approach together. Drop me a message and we'll have a conversation.
